Heggenes is the administrative centre of Øystre Slidre Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located on the east shore of the lake Heggefjorden. The village of Hegge, Innlandet, Hegge lies about to the northwest, the village of Volbu lies about to the south, and the village of Moane lies about to the southeast.
