Øyane
Øyane is a neighborhood (''delområde'') in the Stavanger (city), city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It includes many of the islands located to the east of the mainland portion of the city. The northern part includes the eastern half of the island of Åmøy which is in the borough of Tasta and the islands of Bjørnøya, Stavanger, Bjørnøy, Roadsøy, Ormøy, and Steinsøy are located in the borough of Hundvåg, Stavanger, Hundvåg. The rest of Øyane, which includes the islands of Lindøy, Hellesøy, Stavanger, Hellesøy, Kalvøy, Stavanger, Kalvøy, Vassøy, and Langøy, Stavanger, Langøy are all sparsely inhabited and not a part of any city borough. Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipality in Norway. Åmøy
Åmøy is an island in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island lies just north of the Stavanger (city), city of Stavanger in a group of islands. The islands of Sokn and Bru, Rogaland, Bru both lie to the west of Åmøy and the islands of Mosterøy (island), Mosterøy and Rennesøy (island), Rennesøy lie to the north, and the island of Hidle lies to the east. Geography The island is a long, narrow island with a very narrow isthmus in the middle. Historically, the island was divided between two municipalities. The western part of the island (''Vestre Åmøy'') was part of Rennesøy municipality and the eastern part (''Austre Åmøy'') was part of Stavanger municipality. Tasta is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The borough is located in the northern part of the city. The borough has a population (2016) of 15,379. This gives the borough a population density of . Prior to 2020, the eastern half of the island of Åmøy was also included in this borough, but starting in 2020 that area has been part of the borough of Rennesøy. Hundvåg is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. Lindøy
Lindøy is an island in the Byfjorden (Rogaland), Byfjorden in Stavanger municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The island lies about northeast of the centre of the Stavanger (city), city of Stavanger. It sits in an archipelago surrounded by the islands of Vassøy, Hellesøy, Stavanger, Hellesøy, and Kalvøy, Stavanger, Kalvøy. All of those islands are connected to the mainland only by boat. Orphanage The island was used as an orphanage for more than a hundred years, established by Lars Oftedal (born 1838), Lars Oftedal in the late 1800s.
