Østerøya
Østerøya () a peninsula in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is one of two long, narrow peninsulas located south of the Sandefjord (town), city of Sandefjord. The peninsula lies between the Mefjorden and Tønsbergfjorden and it sits across the fjord from the Vesterøya peninsula. The Tønsberg Barrel is located on the southern end of the peninsula. The Tønsberg Barrel is an old sea mark that is mentioned in ''Sverris saga''. It has been described as one of the most beautiful sites in Sandefjord. Østerøya has a large number of beaches, campgrounds, recreational areas, and vacation homes. The peninsula has a length of , and is between in width. Yxnøy
Yxnøy (also spelled Yxney, formerly: Yxnøyn) is the southernmost part of Østerøya (East Island) in Sandefjord, Norway. It stretches from Nordre Truber to Ertsvika. It is one of the largest undeveloped areas found along the Vestfold coast. It is a recreational area home to several beaches, steep cliffs, forests, sloping rocks, glacial potholes, hiking trails, and Tønsberg Barrel. The main trailhead is located at Tallakshavn, which has been named one of the most scenic beaches in the Tønsberg Fjord. Tønsbergfjorden
Tønsbergfjorden is a fjord in Vestfold county, Norway. The long fjord runs between the mainland (Sandefjord Municipality) and the islands of Tjøme and Nøtterøy (Færder Municipality). The fjord has a number of islands located within it including Veierland, Hui, Langø, Natholmen, and the Stauper islands. The fjord starts out with a width of about and as it heads northwards, it narrows considerably, at one point the fjord is only across. The city of Tønsberg is located at the northern end of the fjord. There is a small canal that runs through Tønsberg and it connects the northern end of the fjord to the Ytre Oslofjord to the east.
