Östersunds DFF
Östersunds DFF is a Swedish football club in Östersund, Sweden. The club was formed 2001 as a co-operation between two Östersund clubs, originally using the name Storsjöns DFF, which was later changed to Ope-Frösö DFF and finally to Östersunds DFF in 2004. They are affiliated to the Jämtland-Härjedalens Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Jämtkraft Arena. In October 2014, the club was promoted to Elitettan, the second tier of women's football in Sweden, for the first time in club history, and it 2015 Elitettan, finished in 8th place in 2015. Jämtkraft Arena
Östersund Arena, currently known as Jämtkraft Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Östersund, Sweden. Its current capacity is 8,466 and it was opened on 13 July 2007. The official tenants are Östersunds FK and Östersunds DFF, but many other football clubs in the area regularly play there. One of its most famous visitors was Arsenal Football Club. On February 15, 2018, they defeated Östersunds FK by 3-0 in the first-leg of the Europa League's Round of 32. It was the English club's first trip to Sweden since beating AIK Fotboll in the 1999–2000 UEFA Champions League. Sarah Storck
Sarah Storck is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a forward in the Swedish league Damallsvenskan. Her first professional club was Bälinge IF, for which she played 17 times in the Damallsvenskan in 2008. In 2009 she moved to LdB FC Malmö. The next year she went on loan to Vittsjö GIK. She later played for IK Sirius FK. Her last club was AIK. She retired from professional football after the 2018 season. At the international level, she represented Sweden in the Under-17, Under-19 and Under-23 teams. Storck was instrumental in Malmö winning the Supercup in 2011, a match held just prior to the start of the 2011 Damallsvenskan season between league champions Malmö and cup winners Örebro. She scored the first goal for Malmö and, in the final minutes of extra time, hit the cross-bar, with the oncoming Manon Melis scoring from the rebound. Östersund (; ) is an Urban areas in Sweden, urban area (Stad (Sweden), city) in Jämtland in northern Sweden. It is the seat of Östersund Municipality and the capital of Jämtland County. Östersund is located at the shores of Sweden's fifth-largest lake, Storsjön, opposite the island Frösön. It is the only city in Jämtland. The northern part of the urban area is located inside of the municipality of Krokom Municipality, Krokom. Östersund is the region's cultural and economical centre and by tradition a city of trade and commerce.
