Örnsköldsvik Municipality
Örnsköldsvik Municipality (; ) is one of Sweden's 290 Municipalities of Sweden, municipalities, in Västernorrland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is in the town Örnsköldsvik. The present municipality was created in 1971 by the amalgamation of the ''City of Örnsköldsvik'' with seven former rural municipalities. Geography Örnsköldsvik is situated near the northern end of the "Höga Kusten, High Coast", which is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO World Heritage Site and has the third longest suspension bridge in Europe, the Höga Kusten Bridge. The city is located around 100 km south of UmeÃ¥ and 550 km north of Stockholm. The area is dominated by forest, but it also contains minor areas of agriculture. 2022 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 11 September 2022 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag who in turn elected the Prime Minister of Sweden. Sidensjö
Sidensjö is a locality situated in Örnsköldsvik Municipality, Västernorrland County, Sweden with 399 inhabitants in 2010. It is also a parish in the ''Nätra Court District''. History In 1915 the parish comprised 39,416 hectares. By that time Sidensjö was a church district in the Diocese of Härnösand and the northwest deanery of Ångermanland. The parish of Sidensjö today includes 33 smaller villages and covers an area of 389 square kilometres. On January 1, 1952 a joint municipality was formed from the parishes of Sidensjö and Nätra. It was called Nätra municipality and was included into the Örnsköldsvik municipality in 1971. Sidensjö is situated by Lake Bysjön, 23 kilometres west of Örnsköldsvik in Ångermanland.
