Ölüdeniz Nature Park
Ölüdeniz (literally "Dead Sea", due to its calm waters even during storms; official translation: Blue Lagoon) is a town of the municipality and district of Fethiye, Muğla Province, Turkey. Its population is 6,132 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (''belde''). It is a beach resort on the Turkish Riviera, at the conjunction point of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. It is located south of Fethiye, near Mount Babadağ. It has a sandy bay at the mouth of Ölüdeniz, on a blue lagoon. The beach itself is a pebble beach. The lagoon is a national nature reserve and construction is strictly prohibited. Fethiye
Fethiye () is a municipality and Districts of Turkey, district of MuÄŸla Province, Turkey. Its area is 875 km2, and its population is 177,702 (2022). The Blue Flag is a certification by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) that a beach, marina, or sustainable boating tourism operator meets its standards. Foreign Purchases Of Real Estate In Turkey
Land ownership in Turkey had been constrained by the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century. This was to prevent foreigners from competing with natives for desirable property. This policy was continued when Turkey became independent in the early 20th century. The policy was relaxed during the 21st century. In 2003, property purchases were opened to foreign nationals though restrictions were retained for various provinces. When these restrictions were violated in 2005, the law was annulled by Turkish courts. Despite this, property purchases continue. Paragliding
Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. Butterfly Valley, Fethiye
Butterfly Valley () is a valley in Fethiye district, Muğla Province, on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The valley is home to diverse butterfly species. Valley The valley is situated at the foothill of Babadağ, a mountain nominated for preservation as world heritage. A wide-strip sand beach at a bay on the Turkish Riviera protrudes from the valley. The Lycian Way () is a marked Long-distance trail, long-distance hiking trail in southwestern Turkey around part of the coast of ancient Lycia. Lycian Way Ultramarathon
Lycian Way Ultramarathon (, shortly LYUM) is an international multiday race, multiday trail running ultramarathon event that takes place across the ancient Lycian region in southwestern Turkey. The event is run around of the long historical Lycian Way eastwards from Fethiye to Antalya in six days. The elevation of the route varies between sea level and . The Lycian Way Ultramarathon was established in 2010 taking place on October 11–17.
