Óscar Rubio
Óscar Rubio Fauria (born 14 May 1984) is a Spanish professional footballer. On the right side of the field, he can operate as a defender or a midfielder. Club career Born in Lleida, Catalonia, Rubio spent most of his career in his native region, representing UE Tàrrega, UE Lleida, Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Elche CF. During that spell he played five seasons in the Segunda División, the exception being 2006–07 in the Segunda División B with the second club. In summer 2010, aged 26, Rubio moved abroad and joined FC Dinamo București of Liga I, being released at the end of the campaign by the Romanian team and returning to his country with Deportivo Alavés (third division). In his second year he contributed 41 games – playoffs included – as the Basques returned to the second tier after a four-year absence. Lleida (, ; ; '' see below'') is a city in the west of Catalonia, Spain. It is the capital and largest town in Segrià county, the Ponent region and the province of Lleida. Miguel Ángel Rubio Buedo (born 31 August 1961) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder, currently a manager. Football career Born in Cuenca, Castilla–La Mancha, Rubio played exclusively for UE Lleida during his professional career. With the Catalans, he experienced relegation to Segunda División B in 1989, with immediate promotion, but also a La Liga season in 1993–94 after a 43-year absence (he only missed three matches and scored three goals, but the team went down again). At the end of the 1995–96 campaign, spent in the Segunda División, Rubio retired aged almost 35, with 530 competitive appearances to his credit. The 2013 Segunda División B play-offs (Playoffs de Ascenso or Promoción de Ascenso) were the final playoffs for promotion from 2012–13 Segunda División B to the 2013–14 Segunda División. The four first placed teams in each of the four 2012–13 Segunda División B, Segunda División B groups played the ''Playoffs de Ascenso'' and the four last placed teams in Segunda División were relegated to Segunda División B. The 2010–11 Liga I was the ninety-third season of the top-level football league of Romania. The season commenced on 23 July 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011. A winter break where no matches were played was held between 11 December 2010 and 18 February 2011. A total of eighteen teams participated in the league, where CFR Cluj were the defending champions.
