Óscar Plano Pedreño (born 11 February 1991) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for La Liga club Elche. Club career Real Madrid Born in Madrid, Plano joined Real Madrid's academy at the age of 11. He made his Segunda División debut with the reserves during the 2012–13 season, scoring four goals for the eighth-placed team. Plano's first match as a professional took place on 17 August 2012, when he featured 68 minutes in a 2–1 away loss against Villarreal CF B. The Segunda División B promotion play-offs are a series of playoffs, playoff matches contested by the teams finishing from 1st to 4th in each Segunda División B group. Sixteen teams play to take four promotion places. Barakaldo CF has been in the Segunda División B promotion play-offs a record nine times: 1993-1994, 1997–2000, 2002–2003 and 2008, but never won promotion. Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender).
