Óscar Rubén Fernández Romero (born 28 September 1974) is a Spanish football manager. Coaching career Born in Torrefiel, Valencia, Fernández graduated from the University of Valencia and started his career at Tavernes Blanques CF before moving to CF Torre Levante's youth categories. In 2005, he was appointed manager of Burjassot CF in Tercera División. Fernández moved to Valencia CF in 2006, being named manager of the ''Juvenil'' squad. In July of the following year, he was appointed at the helm of the reserves in the fourth division, and on 29 October 2007, after Quique Sánchez Flores was sacked from the main squad, he was appointed interim. His first professional match occurred two days later, a 5–1 loss against Real Madrid. The 2016–17 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began on 20 August 2016 and ended on 26 June 2017 with the promotion play-off finals. Segunda División B
Segunda División B (English: second division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. The Segunda División B included the reserve teams of a number of La Liga and Segunda División teams.
