Óscar Esquivias
Óscar Esquivias (born 28 June 1972 in Burgos, Castile and León, Spain) is a Spanish short-story writer, poet and novelist. Biography He studied at the University of Burgos. He was director of the literature magazine ''Calamar, revista de creación'' (1999-2002). His first novel, ''El suelo bendito'' (Ateneo de Sevilla, Award Ateneo Joven of Seville) was published in 2000. The trilogy of novels composed of ''Inquietud en el ParaÃso'' (2005), ''La ciudad del Gran Rey'' (2006) and ''Viene la noche'' (2007) shows his personal vision of Dante's ''Divine Comedy''. He published a collection of short stories, ''Pampanitos verdes'', many of which contained homosexual characters and themes. He is currently a member of the Academy of Fine Arts and History 'Institución Fernán González'. In December 2022, together with the photographer AsÃs G. People From Burgos
The term "the people" refers to the public or common mass of people of a polity. As such it is a concept of human rights law, international law as well as constitutional law, particularly used for claims of popular sovereignty. In contrast, a people is any plurality of persons considered as a whole. Used in politics and law, the term "a people" refers to the collective or community of an ethnic group or nation. Concepts Legal Chapter One, Article One of the Charter of the United Nations states that "peoples" have the right to self-determination.
