Óscar David Álvarez
Óscar David Álvarez Ortega (born 29 March 1983) is a Colombian professional golfer who currently plays on PGA Tour Latinoamérica. Amateur career Early in his career, Álvarez was named Colombia's Amateur Golfer of the Year in 2000. As an amateur, he qualified for the 2004 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club but failed to make the cut after shooting rounds of 78 and 80. Following this he qualified for the 2004 U.S. Amateur. At college level, he played at Brigham Young University and was a two time All-American before graduating in 2006. Professional career After graduating from the university, Álvarez turned professional in 2006 and joined the Tour de las Américas while also playing on the Colombian Tour. PGA Tour Latinoamérica
PGA Tour Latinoamérica was a third level professional golf tour formed in 2012 and operated by the PGA Tour. It was formed in concert with the now also defunct Tour de las Américas. Executives from the Tour de las Américas became employees of the new tour. PGA Tour Latinoamérica was one of a number of lower-tier tours that factored into the Official World Golf Ranking, previously awarding a minimum of six points to the winner and points to the top six plus ties. The top five in the tour's Order of Merit earned status to play on the Korn Ferry Tour, with the money leader being fully exempt. The Order of Merit winner also received the Roberto De Vicenzo Award, named after one of the first golf stars to come out of Latin America. The Brazil Open or Aberto do Brasil is an annual golf tournament held in Brazil. It was founded in 1945 and was an event on the Tour de las Américas on several occasions, most recently in 2005. It is now an event on PGA Tour Americas. History Until the early 1980s, the tournament was a popular stop for many of the world's top professionals, and can boast major winners Sam Snead, Billy Casper, Gary Player, Raymond Floyd, Jerry Pate and Hale Irwin in addition to superstars of South American golf, Roberto De Vicenzo and Ángel Cabrera, amongst its list of champions. Ryan Blaum
Ryan Stephen Blaum (born October 16, 1983) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour, having previously played on Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and the NGA Pro Golf Tour. Amateur career Blaum played college golf at Duke University and was named as Duke University's Most Valuable Player and the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year during the 2002-03 season. He followed this by being named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in the 2004–05 season. Blaum has also participated four times in the U.S. Amateur reaching the second round in 2001 and 2005. Sebastián Fernández (golfer)
Sebastián Fernández (born 8 September 1973) is an Argentina, Argentine professional golfer. Fernández was born in Buenos Aires. He worked as a caddie in Buenos Aires, before turning professional in 1991. He won the Argentine Tour Order of Merit in 2000. He won three Argentine PGA Championships, in 1991, 2001 and 2005, the first as an 18-year-old, and also came second in 2003. Fernández competed on the Challenge Tour from 2003 to 2007, winning one tournament, the Costa Rica Open in 2003, and finishing second in the Skandia PGA Open (Sweden) in 2003, the Costa Rica Open in 2005 and the Challenge of Ireland in 2006. 9 (nine) is the natural number following and preceding . Evolution of the Hindu–Arabic digit Circa 300 BC, as part of the Brahmi numerals, various Indians wrote a digit 9 similar in shape to the modern closing question mark without the bottom dot. The Kshatrapa, Andhra and Gupta started curving the bottom vertical line coming up with a -look-alike. How the numbers got to their Gupta form is open to considerable debate. The Nagari continued the bottom stroke to make a circle and enclose the 3-look-alike, in much the same way that the sign @ encircles a lowercase ''a''. Nelson Lautaro Ledesma (born 25 July 1990) is an Argentinian professional golfer who currently plays on PGA Tour. He has won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour. Professional career Ledesma turned professional in 2007 and played much of his early career on the Argentine national professional golf tour, winning the Order of Merit in 2014, the Tour de las Américas and the PGA Tour Latinoamérica.
