ÃŽle-de-France Tramway Line 13 Express
Île-de-France tramway Line 13 Express (T13 Express; French language, French: ''Ligne 13 Express du tramway '', known as the ''Tangentielle Ouest'' and ''Tram Express Ouest'' in the planning phase) is a suburban tram-train line in Yvelines, west of Paris, which opened on 6 July 2022. The line is operated by Transkeo T12-T13, a joint venture 51% owned by Keolis and 49% by SNCF Voyageurs, but operation will be taken over by RATP Cap Île-de-France by 2026. The line replaced a former branch of Transilien Line L between Saint-Germain-en-Laye–Grande-Ceinture station and Noisy-le-Roi station, going further north to Saint-Germain-en-Laye station and further south to Saint-Cyr station. Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) is the governmental authority ( EPA) that controls and coordinates the different companies operating the Paris-area public transport network and the rest of the Île-de-France region. In this capacity, it issues operating contracts for the various services, owns the buses and rolling stock used on those services, and acts as the main financing body for transport projects in the region. It coordinates the operation of RATP Group, SNCF, and the nearly 90 Optile-affiliated bus companies. The origins of the organization can be traced back to the ''Syndicat des Transports Parisiens'' (STP), which was created by the French Government in 1959 to coordinate the various operations in the Paris region. Grande Ceinture Line
The Grande Ceinture line (, ) is a Rail transport, railway line around Paris, located from the Boulevard Périphérique. The decision to build it was taken at the end of the 19th century, to connect the radial lines linking the capital to the provinces and provide relief to the busy Chemin de fer de Petite Ceinture, Petite Ceinture Line (). Poissy Station
Poissy station ( French: ''Gare de Poissy'') is a rail station in Poissy, France, at the western edge of Paris. Location The station is at kilometric point 25.835 of Paris–Le Havre railway. History The station was inaugurated on 9 May 1843, then rebuilt in the 1870s. The building was dismantled in 1987 to make room for the current station. From 29 May 1989, the station has been a terminus of one of the three western branches of RER A. Service Train service Poissy is served by RER A trains running on branch A5. It is its terminus. Grande Ceinture Ouest
The Grande ceinture Ouest line (French - ''Ligne Grande ceinture Ouest'', or GCO) is a 10 km long section of the Grande Ceinture de Paris, located in Yvelines and reopened to the public on 12 December 2004, after being closed to passengers for 68 years. Service was provided by Transilien Line L. Managed by the SNCF, it links Saint-Germain-en-Laye ( gare de Grande-Ceinture) to Noisy-le-Roi, via Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche. In July 2022, service on this line was taken over by tramway line T13, providing service from Saint-Germain-en-Laye RER station and to Saint-Cyr. RER C
RER C is one of the five lines in the Réseau Express Régional (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. The line crosses the region from north to south. Briefly, between September 1979 and May 1980, the line was known as the ''Transversal Rive Gauche''. The line is operated by SNCF. The line runs from the northern termini Pontoise (C1), Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche (C5) and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (C7) to the southern termini Massy-Palaiseau (C2), Dourdan-la-Forêt (C4) and Saint-Martin d'Étampes (C6). Transilien Line U, also known as "La Défense - La Verrière" or more often simply "ligne U", is a tangential commuter train link, which serves the western Paris region from La Défense. It links the Paris's business district of La Défense to La Verrière station, in the south-west of Ile-de-France. Transilien Line N is a railway line of the Paris Transilien suburban rail network operated by the SNCF. The trains on this line travel between Gare Montparnasse in Paris and the west of Île-de-France region, with termini in Rambouillet, Dreux and Mantes-la-Jolie on a total of . Transilien () is the brand name given to the commuter rail and tram-train network operated by SNCF and serving Île-de-France, the region surrounding and including the city of Paris. The network consists of lines Transilien Line H, H, Transilien Line J, J, Transilien Line K, K, Transilien Line L, L, Transilien Line N, N, Transilien Line P, P, Transilien Line R, R, Transilien Line U, U and Transilien Line V, V that begin and end in major Parisian stations, except for lines U and V which connect major stations outside the Paris city borders.
