Éverton Ribeiro
Éverton Augusto de Barros Ribeiro (born 10 April 1989) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Bahia. Formed at Corinthians, Éverton was sold to Coritiba in 2011 after a loan at São Caetano, winning the Campeonato Paranaense in both of his seasons. He also won Série A twice at Cruzeiro, being voted the best player of each season. He joined Al-Ahli Dubai for €15 million in 2014, winning several items of silverware in the United Arab Emirates before returning to Brazil with Flamengo in 2017. A full international from 2014 to 2022, Éverton represented Brazil at the Copa América in 2015, 2021 and 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 2021 Copa América was the 47th edition of the Copa América, the international men's association football, football championship organised by South America's football ruling body CONMEBOL. The tournament took place in Brazil from 13 June to 10 July 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place from 12 June to 12 July 2020 in Argentina and Colombia as the 2020 Copa América. On 17 March 2020, CONMEBOL announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic in South America, the tournament had been postponed for a year, in conjunction with UEFA's decision to also postpone UEFA Euro 2020 to 2021. This was the first time since 1991 Copa América, 1991 where no guest nation took part in the tournament. Paulo César Carpegiani (born 7 February 1949, in Erechim) is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing career Carpegiani began his professional career at Sport Club Internacional of Porto Alegre, in Rio Grande do Sul, where he played from 1970 to 1977, winning two Brazilian Championships (1975 and 1976). Carpegiani also played for Flamengo (1977–1980), winning the Brazilian Championship in 1980. Coaching career Upon retiring, he started a career as a football coach.
