Éva Novodomszky (born 19 January 1974 in Szarvas, Hungary) is a Hungarian journalist and presenter. She started her career in a journalist school (Komlósi Oktatási Stúdió). She became a reporter (then presenter) of news of youth in Magyar TelevÃzió. Later she worked for Parlamenti Napló, EuroPercek, Szabadság tér and HÃradó. She has been the presenter of ''HÃradó'' (News) since 2000. She has been married to Italian Mr. Salvatore Sgroi, businessman in a gastronomic sector, with whom she has had two sons, named Cristiano and Marco. The Eurovision Song Contest (), often known simply as Eurovision, is an international Music competition, song competition organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) among its members since 1956. Each participating broadcaster submits an original song representing its country to be performed and broadcast live to all of them via the Eurovision (network), Eurovision and Euroradio networks, and then casts votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. The Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the 53rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Belgrade, Serbia, following the country's victory at the with the song "" by Marija Šerifović. Hungary was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Candlelight", composed by Viktor Rakonczai, with lyrics by Jánosi and Imre Mózsik, and performed by Csézy. Szarvas (, ; ) is a town in Békés County, Hungary. Name Placename Szarvas originated from the old Hungarian language, Hungarian word ''szarvas'', which means deer.
