Éric Prodon
Éric Prodon (born 27 June 1981) is a former French professional tennis player. Juniors career Prodon had a long career in Juniors, playing from 1997 to 1999 and reaching year-end No. 28 in 1998. In matches against future top pros, he beat Mikhail Youzhny and Julien Benneteau in 1997. Early in 1998, he lost to Jarkko Nieminen, and late in the year, he beat Roger Federer, Karol Beck, and Guillermo Coria in successive rounds at Eddie Herr before losing to David Nalbandian in the final. He then beat Youzhny again after that in the Orange Bowl. Early in 1999, he had a great Australian hard court run, beating Nieminen and splitting matches with Kristian Pless in finals two weeks in a row. In March 1999, he lost to Coria and Paul-Henri Mathieu in successive finals. In May, he lost to Nieminen again, but beat him and Karol Beck the next week in the French Open before losing again to Nalbandian in the quarters. 2012 Australian Open – Men's Singles
Defending champion Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in the final, 5–7, 6–4, 6–2, 6–7(5–7), 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2012 Australian Open. It was his third Australian Open title and fifth major title overall. The final lasted 5 hours and 53 minutes, the longest match in Australian Open history and the longest major singles final of all time. Kristian Peter Pless (born 9 February 1981) is a former professional male tennis player from Denmark. Tennis career Juniors Pless had an excellent junior career, winning the 1999 Australian Open Boys' Singles (defeated Mikhail Youzhny), and reaching the Boys' final at both Wimbledon Championships, Wimbledon (lost to Jürgen Melzer), and the US Open (tennis), US Open (lost to Jarkko Nieminen) the same year. Ivo Minář (born 21 May 1984) is a former professional male tennis player from the Czech Republic. On 20 July 2009 Minář reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 62. His brother Jan is also a professional player, who has been ranked in the top 200 in the world. Minář was a member of the winning Czech Republic team in the 2012 Davis Cup. Bohdan Ulihrach (born 23 February 1975) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Career Ulihrach turned professional in 1993. He won his first top-level singles title in July 1995 at Prague, where he defeated Javier Sánchez in the final. His second followed three months later at Montevideo, where he beat Alberto Berasategui in the final. Davide Sanguinetti (; born 25 August 1972) is an Italian former professional male tennis player. Peter Luczak (, ; born 31 August 1979) is a retired professional tennis player from Australia. His career-high ATP singles ranking was World No. 64, achieved in October 2009. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, Luczak won the Gold in the doubles. Luczak came to Australia at 9 months of age, when his parents, Eva and Kris, left Warsaw in 1980, where they settled in Melbourne. Raemon Sluiter (; born 13 April 1978) is a Dutch former professional tennis player and current coach. His career-high ATP singles ranking is World No. 46, achieved in February 2003. Though he achieved only limited success during his professional career, Sluiter reached four ATP finals in his native Netherlands, and also reached the semi-finals of the Davis Cup with the Dutch team in 2001.
