Éric Lucas
Éric Lucas (born May 29, 1971) is a Canadian former professional boxer. Professional career Lucas turned pro in 1991 and came up short in his first two title shots, against WBC Light Heavyweight Title holder Fabrice Tiozzo in 1996 and IBF Super Middleweight Title holder Roy Jones Jr. later that year. He lost the fight to Jones after Jones had played a basketball game earlier that day. Lucas won the WBC title from Briton Glenn Catley in 2001. He defended it three times before losing a controversial split decision to Markus Beyer in Germany in April 2003. Eric Lucas, a former WBC super-middleweight world champion, announced his retirement following a 10th-round TKO loss to WBA super-middleweight champion Mikkel Kessler in Copenhagen. Danny Green (boxer)
Daniel Thomas Green (born 9 March 1973) is a former Australian professional boxer. He held the WBA light-heavyweight title from 2007 to 2008, the IBO cruiserweight title twice between 2009 and 2013, and the WBC interim super-middleweight title from 2003 to 2005. Amateur career and the Olympics As a teenager Green had tried martial arts and kickboxing, and had his first amateur boxing bout aged 20. Green was awarded a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport in 1998, and won a bronze medal at the Liverpool International Boxing Tournament in the same year. He was selected for the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, however he broke his hand and was unable to vie for medals. The Montreal Casino ( French: ''Casino de Montréal'') located in Montreal, Quebec, is the largest casino in Canada. Situated on Notre Dame Island, in Jean-Drapeau Park, it consists of two former Expo 67 pavilion buildings. The casino is open to the public seven days a week, operating morning until late night. Laurensio Segundo Mercado (born 5 January 1967) is a retired male boxer from Ecuador. Mercado represented Ecuador at the 1988 Summer Olympics, losing on points in the boxing competition to Martin Kitel of Sweden. He turned professional after the games and, fighting as a middleweight, built up a record of 18-2. On 17 December 1994, Mercado was matched against future undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins for the vacant IBF middleweight title in Quito, Ecuador. Attempting to become his country's first ever world boxing champion, Mercado knocked Hopkins down twice, but the fight was scored a controversial split draw. Alex Hilton is a Canadian former professional boxer. He is the brother of former super middleweight world champion, Dave Hilton Jr., and light middleweight world champion of boxing, Matthew Hilton. Dingaan Bongani Thobela (24 September 1966 – 29 April 2024) was a South African professional boxer who competed between 1990 and 2006. He was a world champion in two weight classes, having held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) lightweight title from 1990 to 1992, the World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight in 1993, and the World Boxing Council (WBC) super-middleweight title in 2000.
