Éric Lapointe (, ; born 28 September 1969) is a Francophone lead singer and guitarist for his eponymous band. His band is characterized by a heavy metal style containing elements of punk, grunge, pop, and hard rock. Lapointe has released eight studio albums, three compilation albums, and two live albums. Biography Childhood Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Lapointe is the eldest of three children; he has two brothers, Marc and Hugo. Their father, Serge, served in the military and his family often had to move, which saw them relocate thirteen times by the time Lapointe turned 16. Yves-François Blanchet
Yves-François Blanchet (; born April 16, 1965) is a Canadian politician who has served as the leader of the Bloc Québécois (BQ) and member of Parliament (MP) for Beloeil—Chambly since 2019. Blanchet was born in Drummondville, Quebec, and graduated from the Université de Montréal. Prior to entering politics he ran an artist management firm and was the president of ADISQ from 2003 to 2006. Blanchet served as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for the Parti Québécois (PQ) from 2008 until his defeat in the 2014 election. Dan Bigras (born 23 December 1957) is a francophone rock singer and actor from Canada. He has released a number of albums of rock music, beginning with ''Ange Animal'' in 1990. He is the spokesman of ''Refuge des Jeunes de Montréal'' (meaning Refuge of Montreal's youth), an agency to help homeless and at-risk youth. The organisation produces ''le show du Refuge'' each year. Jean-Pierre Ferland
Jean-Pierre Ferland, (; June 24, 1934 – April 27, 2024) was a Québécois singer and songwriter. He was noted for writing over 450 songs and releasing more than 30 albums. He was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007. Early life Ferland was born in the Le Plateau-Mont-Royal borough of Montreal on June 24, 1934. He studied at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal and was first employed as an accountant after graduating.
