Éric Estève
Éric Estève (born 14 July 1951) is a French author, composer and singer. Originally discovered by Véronique Sanson (Stephen Stills' former wife) at the age of 17, Estève recorded on Epic. Veronique offered Éric the first part of her show and used him as a background vocalist in her own show as well as on the albums ''Live At the Olympia 1976'', ''Hollywood'' and ''7e''. Their mutual friend and producer Bernard Saint-Paul affectionately refers to the sound of Éric and Véronique's voices singing together as "the blend". In 1978, Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon offered Éric the part of Ziggy in their rock opera '' Starmania''. Véronique Sanson
Véronique Marie Line Sanson (; born 24 April 1949) is a three-time Victoires de la Musique award-winning French singer-songwriter and record producer with an avid following in her native country. Ten years after Barbara, Véronique Sanson became one of the first French female singer-songwriters to break into stardom with her debut album " Amoureuse" in 1972. Stephen Arthur Stills (born January 3, 1945) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his work with Buffalo Springfield; Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash; Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; and Manassas (band), Manassas. ''Starmania'' is a Canadian- French rock opera written in 1976 with music by Michel Berger and book and lyrics by Luc Plamondon. It debuted in 1978 with a studio recording of the songs, before premiering on stage in 1979. An English-language studio version was also produced in 1992, with lyrics by Sir Tim Rice. Several stage revivals have been produced in France, Quebec and Germany, each with their distinctive styles. Daniel Xavier-Marie Balavoine (; 5 February 1952 – 14 January 1986) was a French singer and songwriter. He was popular in the French-speaking world in the early 1980s; he inspired many singers of his generation such as Jean-Jacques Goldman, Michel Berger, who was his closest friend, as well as the Japanese pop-rock group Crystal King. Balavoine was a part of the original cast of the rock opera '' Starmania'' in 1978, which was written by Berger.
