Émile Asselin
Émile Asselin (born November 15, 1996) is a Canadians, Canadian curling, curler from Montreal, Quebec. He currently plays Second (curling), second on Team Michael Fournier, Mike Fournier. Career Playing lead for his brother Félix Asselin, Émile won back-to-back Quebec Junior Curling Championships in 2015 and 2016. The team had a strong showing at the 2015 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, qualifying for the championship pool with a 6–0 record. They then went 1–3 in the championship pool, qualifying for the tiebreaker. Team Asselin defeated Alberta in the tiebreaker before losing to Saskatchewan in the second, ultimately being eliminated. The team just missed the playoffs 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the following season, finishing tied for fourth place with a 6–4 record. Lacolle, Quebec
Lacolle () is a municipality in southern Quebec, Canada, located in the administrative area of the Montérégie, on the Canada–United States border. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 2,708. The Lacolle River runs eastward through the middle of the town and empties in Richelieu River. More people cross the border illegally from the United States there than at any other point. Almost nineteen thousand people were detained in 2017. Vincent Roberge
Vincent Roberge (born December 16, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Lévis, Quebec. Career Roberge won his first Quebec Junior Curling Championship in 2017, skipping his team of Julien Tremblay, Étienne Elmaleh and Fabien Roberge. This qualified them for the 2017 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, held January 21–29 in Esquimalt, British Columbia. At the championship, Roberge's team just missed qualifying for the championship pool, finishing the round robin with a 2–4 record. They then went 3–1 in the seeding pool to finish the tournament with an overall 5–5 record. Two seasons later, Roberge won his second provincial junior title, qualifying his team of Jesse Mullen, Simon-Olivier Hebert and Bradley Lequin for the 2019 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Martin Ferland
Martin Ferland (born November 8, 1970) is a Canadian curler from Trois-Rivières, Quebec. Career Born in Drummondville, Quebec, Ferland was a member of the 2007 Quebec champion team, that was skipped by Pierre Charette. Ferland threw last stones for the team. At that first Brier, Ferland's team finished with a 4-7 record. Ferland was also the 1989 provincial junior champion skip. He skipped Quebec at the 1989 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, but lost to Dean Joanisse of British Columbia in the final. Ferland has been one of the more visible Quebec based teams on the World Curling Tour (WCT). During the 2010s, he regularly competed in World Curling Tour events, while other Quebec rinks were less visible. 2020 Quebec Tankard
The 2020 Quebec Tankard the Quebec men's provincial curling championship was held from January 19 to 26 at the Arèna de Salaberry in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. The winning Alek Bédard rink represented Quebec at the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ontario and finished with a 1–6 record. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Quebec Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Quebec's provincial women's curling championship. It is the third time in the last 11 years that Salaberry-de-Valleyfield played host to the provincial championships. Challenge Casino De Charlevoix
The Challenge de Curling Desjardins, formerly the Challenge Casino de Charlevoix is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Aréna de Clermont and the Club de Curling Nairn in Clermont, Québec. The tournament is held in a triple-knockout format. Emily Riley (born September 23, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Pincourt, Quebec. She currently plays second on Team Laurie St-Georges. Career Riley is an accomplished junior curler, having participated in three Canadian Junior Curling Championships in 2016, 2018 and 2019. In 2016, her team skipped by Laurie St-Georges, finished the tournament with a 6–4 record, finishing in sixth place. In 2018, her team made it all the way to the final before losing to Nova Scotia's Kaitlyn Jones, earning the silver medal. In her final appearance in 2019, her team lost to British Columbia's Sarah Daniels in a tiebreaker to qualify for the playoff round. Also during the 2018–19 season, Team St-Georges lost in the final of the Curl Mesabi Classic World Curling Tour event.
