Éléonore Caroit
Éléonore Anne-Marie Caroit (; born 8 July 1985) is a French lawyer and politician who also holds Swiss and Dominican citizenship. A member of Renaissance (RE), she has represented the second constituency for French residents overseas in the National Assembly since 2022, with a brief interruption in 2023, when the Constitutional Council ordered an election re-run. Constitutional Council (France)
The Constitutional Council (, ) is the highest constitutional authority in France. It was established by the Constitution of France, Constitution of the Fifth Republic on 4 October 1958 to ensure that constitutional principles and rules are upheld.
