Élodie Frenck is a Peruvian–Swiss–French actress, born 31 July 1974 in Lausanne, Switzerland. She is known for playing the character of Marlène Leroy in the French TV series '' Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie''. Biography Frenck obtained her baccalauréat in 1993. She studied drama at the Belle de Mai, then at the Cours Florent from 1994 to 1997. She took part in a Swiss improvisation league from 1989 to 1997. She made herself known on television and was gradually offered theatre and film roles. On 16 September 2013 she won the Prix jeune espoir féminin (Aspiring Young Female) at the Festival de la Rochelle for her portrayal of Marlène in the France 2 show '' Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie''. Alain Tanner (6 December 1929 – 11 September 2022) was a Swiss film director. Early years and education Tanner was born in Geneva, and studied economics at the University of Geneva. In 1951, he joined the film club which Claude Goretta had recently established at the university. After his graduation and a short time working for international shipping companies in London, he continued feeling drawn to film. Film career Tanner found work at the British Film Institute in 1955, subtitling, translating, and organizing the archive. His first film, '' Nice Time'' (1957), a short documentary film about Piccadilly Circus during weekend evenings, was made with Claude Goretta. ''Wasabi'' is a 2001 French action comedy film directed by Gérard Krawczyk and written and produced by Luc Besson. The film stars Jean Reno, Michel Muller and Ryōko Hirosue. Alain Bonnet, known as Alain Soral (; born 2 October 1958), is a far-right Franco-Swiss ideologue, essayist, filmmaker, and actor. Having been a member of the French Communist Party in the 1990s, Soral worked for the National Front before leaving in 2009.
