Élise Fischer
Élise Fischer (13 July 1948 – 25 December 2023) was a French writer, journalist and novelist from Lorraine. Biography Élise Fischer was born in Champigneulles, Meurthe-et-Moselle on 13 July 1948, the daughter of a father from Lorraine and a mother from Alsace. In 1984 she worked as a journalist for two titles of the Christian written press, ' and ', but also for . She subsequently produced and hosted the literary program ''Au fil des pages'' on RCF. Fischer worked with the Bayard Presse group from 1992. Among her novels, several essays are devoted to children's rights. In 2007 she returned to Lorraine and settled there. Fischer died on 25 December 2023, at the age of 75. Champigneulles
Champigneulles () is a commune in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in north-eastern France. left, Arboretum de Bellefontaine. It is home to L' Arboretum de Bellefontaine. The Champigneulles brewery, founded on 20 June 1897, was for a long time the most important production site of the ''Société Européenne de Brasserie'' (SEB), which owned more than twenty production sites in France. In 1987 SEB merged with Kronenbourg Brewery. In 2006 Kronenbourg sold the site to ''Frankfurter Brauhaus'', a German brewery in Frankfurt an der Oder. The writer and author Élise Fischer was born in Champigneulles on 13 July 1948. Alexandre Minkowski (5 December 1915 – 7 May 2004) was a French paediatrician, and arguably the French physician who most influenced neonatology in the 20th century. He was born and died in Paris. He was the son of the eminent medical philosopher, Eugene Minkowski and the psychiatrist, Françoise Minkowska. They were Polish Jewish doctors who became naturalised French citizens after World War I and settled in France. They kept up their links with their ancestral Poland.
