Élisabeth Guigou (; born Élisabeth Vallier; 6 August 1946) is a French politician of the Socialist Party who served as a member of the National Assembly from 2002 until 2017, representing Seine-Saint-Denis' 9th constituency. Early life and career Guigou was born in Marrakesh, Morocco. After attending Sciences Po Aix and ENA, France's elite graduate school of public affairs, she worked in Jacques Delors' staff in 1982 before being hired by Hubert Védrine in François Mitterrand's government. She was appointed Secretary-General of the Interministerial Committee on European Economical Matters in 1986 during the period of cohabitation. Michel Rocard (; 23 August 1930 â€“ 2 July 2016) was a French politician and a member of the Socialist Party (France), Socialist Party (PS). He served as Prime Minister of France, Prime Minister under François Mitterrand from 1988 to 1991 during which he created the ''Revenu minimum d'insertion'' (RMI), a social minimum welfare program for indigents, and achieved the Matignon Agreements (1988), Matignon Accords regarding the status of New Caledonia. Marie-Josée Roig (; 12 May 1938 – 7 August 2024), ''née'' Méliorat, was a French politician. RPR and later UMP Mayor of Avignon from 1995 to 2014, she was also president of the ''Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Avignon'' from the time when it was established in 2001 until 2014. Bastien Lachaud (born 5 August 1980) is a French politician representing La France insoumise (Rebellious France). He was elected to the French National Assembly on 18 June 2017, representing the department of Seine-Saint-Denis.
