Élisabeth Garouste
Élisabeth Garouste (born 17 July 1946) is a French interior designer. The daughter of Russian immigrants Salomon and Blima Rochline, she was born Élisabeth Catherine Rochline in Paris, was educated at the and studied interior design at the École Camondo. In 1970, she married painter Gérard Garouste. Garouste designed theatre sets for Jean-Michel Ribes. She later went on to work with Mattia Bonetti to design furniture; their designs have appeared in museums including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the and the Guggenheim Museum, They were awarded the Prix Créateurs at the Salon International du Meuble in Paris. Jean-Michel Ribes (born 15 December 1946, in Paris) is a French playwright, screenwriter, theatre director, film maker and actor. Since 2002 he has been the managing director of the Théâtre du Rond-Point. Between 1982 and 1984 Ribes had directed ''Merci Bernard'' and since 1988 works on ''Palace''. Mattia Bonetti (born 1952) is a Paris-based artist and designer. Bonetti was born in Lugano, Switzerland Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation, is a landlocked country located in west-central Europe.
