Édouard Dubois (born 14 March 1989) is a French professional golfer. Career Dubois was born in Libourne, France. He turned professional in 2008. In 2009, Dubois finished sixth on the Alps Tour Order of Merit, including his maiden professional win, and progressed to the final stage of European Tour Qualifying School, which earned him a Challenge Tour card. He finished 42nd on that tour in his 2010 debut season, qualifying for the end-of-season Challenge Tour Grand Final, Grand Final, and in 2011 picked up his first win at that level, at the Kärnten Golf Open. He followed this with a second win three weeks later. Libourne
Libourne (; ) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is a sub-prefecture of the department. It is the wine-making capital of northern Gironde and lies near Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. Geography Libourne is located at the confluence of the Isle and Dordogne rivers. Benjamin Hébert
Benjamin Hébert (born 19 February 1987) is a French professional golfer. Early life Hébert was born in Brive, France. His parents are Jean-Luc, a former pentathlete, and Françoise, a former swimmer, both of whom now work as teachers. He also has one sister, Audrey. Hébert spent some of his childhood in Tahiti, from age 14 to 18, before graduating from high school in 2005. Amateur career Hébert enjoyed a successful amateur career. He spent three years on the French national team, the highlight being representing his country at the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy. He won a number of individual tournaments, the most notable being the European Amateur in 2007, which gained him entry to the following year's Open Championship. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. The venue generally alternates between Great Britain and Ireland and the continent. From 1958 to 1966 a similar match was played between a combined England and Scotland team and the Continent of Europe. History The event can trace its origins back to 1958. The European Boys' Team Championship (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy) is a European amateur team golf championship for men up to 18 organized by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1980 and it has been played annually since.
