Édgar Barrera
Edgar Barrera (born April 18, 1990), also known by his professional name Edge, is an American songwriter, producer, and musician based in Miami, Florida. He has won a total of 26 Latin Grammy Awards and 1 Grammy Award including "Producer of The Year" in 2021, 2023, and 2024; and "Songwriter of The Year" in 2023 and 2024. As a songwriter he has won a total of 38 BMI Awards, making him one of the most awarded writers in Latin music. Fuerza Regida is an American regional Mexican band formed in San Bernardino, California in 2015, initially as a cover band. The band is currently compromised of Jesús Ortíz Paz (lead vocals), Samuel Jáimez (backing vocals and 12-string guitar), Khrystian Ramos (rhythm guitar), José "Pelón" García (sousaphone) and Moisés López (tololoche). Grupo Firme is a regional Mexican band based in Tijuana, Baja California, that specializes in Sinaloan music. Formed in 2014, they have received nominations for a variety of awards that include Latin Grammy, Premios Juventud and Premio Lo Nuestro, being the winner in 2021 of the latter in five categories.
