Éamonn Dillon
Éamonn Dillon (born 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Dublin Senior Championship club Naomh Fionnbarra and formerly at intercounty level with the Dublin senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a forward. Career A member of the Naomh Fionnbarra club in Cabra, Dillon first came to prominence on the inter-county scene as goalkeeper on the Dublin minor team in 2010. He later switched to the forwards with the Dublin under-21 team, winning a Leinster Under-21 Championship title in 2011. He joined the Dublin senior hurling team in 2012 and won a Leinster Championship title the following year. He was injured for Dublin's 2021 All-Ireland SHC campaign. Cabra, Dublin
Cabra () is an inner suburb on the northside of Dublin city in Ireland. It is approximately northwest of the city centre, in the administrative area of Dublin City Council. It was commonly known as Cabragh until the early 20th century. Largely located between the Royal Canal and the Phoenix Park, it is primarily a residential suburb, with a range of institutions and some light industry. Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the oneills.com Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship), is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by oneills.com. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Leinster final currently being played in July. The prize for the winning team is the Seán Robbins Cup. The 2011 Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-21 Championship is the 48th staging of the All-Ireland Championship since its inception in 1964. Dublin Senior Hurling Championship
The Dublin Senior Hurling Championship () is an annual hurling competition organised by the Dublin County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) since 1887 for the top hurling clubs in County Dublin, Ireland. Sixteen clubs compete. Initially the teams are divided into four groups of four with the group matches being played from April to May with a break to accommodate the All-Ireland Championship and resume during August or September. The group stage is followed by a knock-out phase which takes place during the months of October and November.
