Seydisuyu (also spelled Seydi Suyu) is a river in Eskişehir Province, Turkey. It is a branch of Sakarya. Çatören Dam is built on Seydisuyu. It also runs through the town of Doğançayır Doğançayır is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Seyitgazi, Eskişehir Province, Turkey. Its population is 774 (2022). The State Hydraulic Works () is a state agency, under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Turkey, responsible for the utilization of all the country's water resources. The institution's four major functions are energy, agriculture, services and environment. The General Manager of DSI is Kaya Yıldız. History Development of water resources in Turkey began with the establishment of the "General Directorate of Public Works" () by the Ottoman Government in 1914.
