Åstorp Municipality () is a municipality in Scania County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Åstorp. In 1974 "old" ''Åstorp'' (a market town (''köping'') since 1946) was amalgamated with Kvidinge to form the present municipality. Kvidinge
Kvidinge is a locality situated in Åstorp Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 1,854 inhabitants in 2010. It is famous as the death site of Charles August, Crown Prince of Sweden in 1810. Crown Prince was inspecting the Scanian Hussar Regiment troops on its training ground Kvidinge Heath at Kvidinge when a dizzy spell caused him to fall from his horse, where he died of a heart attack. Crown Prince Charles John (later King Karl XIV Johan) proposed that a memorial to the incident would be raised. Helsingborg Municipality
Helsingborg Municipality () is a municipality in Scania County in Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Helsingborg, which is Sweden's eighth-largest city. The municipality had a population of 147,734 on 1 January 2019 and the metropolitan area has about 320,000 inhabitants. Between 1912 and 1971 the name of the town was officially spelled Hälsingborg (rather like the region of Hälsingland but unlike neighbouring Danish Helsingør and the Finnish capital Helsingfors (Helsinki)). Bjuv Municipality () is a municipality in Skåne County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Bjuv. The amalgamations connected to the 1971 local government reform in Sweden took place in this area in 1974, when "old" ''Bjuv'' (a market town (''köping'') since 1946) was amalgamated with ''Billesholm'' and ''Ekeby''. History The municipal arms depicts a mining torch lighting up a dark area. The reason is that Bjuv Municipality has had a coal mining industry since the 18th century. Svalöv Municipality
Svalöv Municipality () is a municipality in Skåne County in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the town Svalöv. The local government reform of 1952 grouped the 15 original entities into six larger municipalities. In two steps, 1969 and 1971 they were amalgamated to form the present municipality. The most common housing category is one-family houses. There are local ''pågatåg'' trains connecting Teckomatorp, in the south of the municipality, with Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg. To get to the town of Svalöv, one can take a bus (approximately 15 minutes) from Teckomatorp. The villages Röstånga, Kågeröd, Teckomatorp, Svalöv itself and parts of Söderåsen National Park are located in the municipality. The villages are all connected via local buses. 2022 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 11 September 2022 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag who in turn elected the Prime Minister of Sweden. Under the constitution, regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The preliminary results presented on 15 September showed the government parties lost their majority, which were confirmed by the final results published on 17 September. Ängelholm Municipality
Ängelholm Municipality () is a Municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Scania County in South Sweden in southern Sweden. Its seat is located in the city Ängelholm. In 1971 the ''City of Ängelholm'' was amalgamated with the rural municipalities ''Ausås'', ''Barkåkra'', ''Hjärnarp'' and ''Munka-Ljungby'', thus creating a municipality of unitary type. In 1974 a parish from the dissolved municipality ''Östra Ljungby'' was added. Ängelholm was until recently the home of a major airforce base.
