Årjäng Municipality
Årjäng Municipality () is a municipality in Värmland County in west central Sweden, bordering Norway. Its seat is located in the town of Årjäng. A separate local government entity named Årjäng was created in 1941 when it was detached from Silbodal. In 1952 the two were reunited under the name of Årjäng. In 1971 Sillerud and Holmedal were amalgamated with Årjäng. In 1974 Töcksmark was added, expanding the municipality to its current size. The municipality contains two localities, Årjäng and Töcksfors. Known Swedish sportsmen from this municipality are Per-Gunnar Andersson and Thomas Wassberg. Per-Gunnar "P-G" Andersson (born 10 March 1980 in Årjäng) is a Sweden, Swedish rally driver. He is a two-time winner of the Junior World Rally Championship. Career Andersson was competing in Junior World Rally Championship since 2003 World Rally Championship season, 2003. He became JWRC champion in 2004 during his first complete season. Piloting a Suzuki Ignis S1600, he earned three wins, a second place, an eight place, and two retirements. He scored 39 points during this year while runner-up Nicolas Bernardi, piloting Renault Clio S1600, scored only 2 fewer points. In 2005 World Rally Championship season, 2005 season, Andersson continued competing in the JWRC with Suzuki Ignis S1600 and later Suzuki Swift S1600. Although he won 2005 Rally Acropolis, Rally Acropolis, the rest of season wasn't that successful and, in final standings, Andersson finished sixth with 30 points. Bengtsfors Municipality
Bengtsfors Municipality () is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Bengtsfors. The present municipality was formed in 1971 when the former market town (''köping'') of Bengtsfors (instituted in 1926) was amalgamated with the municipalities of Bäckefors, LelÃ¥ng and Steneby. Geography The municipality has much water areas, consisting of lakes and streams. It makes it a good place for canoeing, fishing and bathing. Every year a canoeing marathon called ''Dalslands Kanot Marathon+'', or DKM+, is held. Dals-Ed Municipality () is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden, on the border to Norway. Its seat is located in the town of Ed. The present municipality was formed during the local government reform of 1952 through the amalgamation of six former units. Its territory was not affected by the 1971 reform. Säffle Municipality
Säffle Municipality () is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Värmland County in west central Sweden. Its seat is located in the stad (Sweden), city of Säffle. Säffle was the last local government unit in Sweden to get the title of a city, in 1951.
