"Älskar du livet" is a song written by Anders Glenmark and Niklas Strömstedt, and performed by Björn Kjellman at Melodifestivalen 2006, where it progressed from the semifinal in Gothenburg to the final at the Stockholm Globe Arena. It finished ninth in the final. The song became a Svensktoppen ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing on Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982–1985. Björn Kjellman
John Björn Sture Kjellman (born 4 June 1963) is a Swedish actor and singer. Kjellman was born in Östra Grevie, Scania. He played roles in Swedish movies like '' Klassfesten'' and '' Livet är en schlager'', in which he plays a Melodifestivalen Melodifestivalen (; ) is an annual song competition organised by Swedish public broadcasters Sveriges Television (SVT) and Sveriges Radio (SR). It determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest, and has been staged almo ...-obsessed transvestite who is brother to Helena Bergström's character, who takes part in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in the movie. Kjellman participated in Melodifestivalen 2006 with the song " Älskar du livet", and reached the final where it ended up 9th. He played the iconic Pelle in SVT 1997 Julkalender ”Pelle Svanslös”. 2006 was the 46th edition of the Swedish music competition , which was organised by (SVT) and took place over a five-week period between 18 February and 18 March 2006. The winner of the competition was Carola with the song "Evighet". She represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, with the English version of the song, " Invincible", where she came fifth with 170 points. Format The heats for Melodifestivalen 2006 began on 18 February 2006. Ten songs from these heats qualified for the final on 18 March 2006. This was the fifth year that a heat format had been used for the competition.
