Älskade ängel
"Älskade ängel" is a song, written by Per Johan Widestrand and recorded by Lill-Babs. The single was released under the name ''Lill-Babs'' & Heman Hunters and in 1994 the song was used as theme music, signature melody for the Sveriges Television, SVT TV series ''Bert (TV series), Bert '', where the refrain can be heard. In the TV series, Bert Ljung, Bert is seen dancing at the mirror when the song was played, while appearing words showed the episode title. In 2004 the song was on Lill-Babs compilation album ''Lill-Babs i lyxförpackning''. The song became a Svensktoppen hit for nine weeks, during the period 10 December 1994 – 14 January 1995, peaking at second position. The Playtones also performed the song at Dansbandskampen 2009, when Lill-Babs was tonight's theme in the second round. Barbro Margareta Svensson (9 March 1938 – 3 April 2018), known by her stage name Lill-Babs, was a Swedish singer, actress and television host. From the early 1950s until her death in 2018, she was one of Sweden's best-known and popular singers. She represented Sweden in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes with the song " April, april". She was also well known for the song " Är du kär i mej ännu Klas-Göran?" ''Dansbandskampen'' is a television show established by Peter Settman and his production company Baluba. Peter Settman is also the show host. The show is broadcast over Sveriges Television, with season 1 airing October–December 2008. In 2008, five bands participated each week. Each week consisted of one moment where the bands were free to perform a pop or rock song, followed up by the second moment, ''Dansbandsklassikern'' ("The dansband classic"), where a famous dansband song was performed, chosen by drawing. The finalist bands are given an own, new own-produced song, followed up by the two remaining bands performing their own version of a song.
