テ]gel David Zerpa (born September 27, 1999) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021. Career Zerpa signed with the Kansas City Royals as an international free agent in 2016 for a $100,000 signing bonus. Zerpa made his professional debut in 2017 with the Dominican Summer League Royals, going 3窶4 with a 1.84 ERA and 39 strikeouts over innings. He spent the 2018 season with the Arizona League Royals, going 3窶6 with a 3.88 ERA and 34 strikeouts over innings. Zerpa split the 2019 season between the Burlington Royals and the Idaho Falls Chukars, going a combined 6窶3 with a 3.40 ERA and 55 strikeouts over innings. The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. They are located in Papillion, Nebraska, a suburb southwest of Omaha, Nebraska, Omaha, and play their home games at Werner Park, which opened in 2011. The Idaho Falls Chukars are an independent baseball team of the Pioneer League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) but is an MLB Partner League. They are located in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and play their home games at Melaleuca Field.
