Club career Sanabria started his professional career at Cobﾃ｡n Imperial and has played for several Guatemalan top level sides, among them local giants Comunicaciones and Xelajﾃｺ MC whom he left after only a short spell. He joined Heredia in 2008 to be closer to his family and moved to then champions Jalapa in July 2009. The 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the eighth edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). It was contested in the United States in July 2005. The United States emerged victorious in the final against an upstart Panama team led by tournament MVP Luis Tejada. After regulation and 30 minutes of extra time ended scoreless, the U.S. won 3窶1 on penalties. The Copa Centroamericana () was an association football competition organized by UNCAF as its top regional tournament for men's senior national teams from Central America. The tournament was held from 1991 to 2017, every two years in the years before and after the FIFA World Cup and also served as a qualification method for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
