ﾃ］gel Paulino Canul Pacab (born 18 September 1962) is a Mexican independent politician and former member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He is known for his service at both local and federal levels of government, notably as municipal president of Opichﾃｩn and as a Deputy in the LIX Legislature of the Mexican Congress. Political career Municipal government Canul Pacab began his political career in the late 1980s. He served as the municipal president (mayor) of Opichﾃｩn, Yucatﾃ｡n from 1988 to 1990 under the PRI. His time as municipal president marked his entry into public service and established his political presence in local governance.
