Angel Ortiz (born 1967), known publicly as LA II or LA2 (meaning "Little Angel"), is an American graffiti artist and Visual arts, visual artist of Puerto Ricans, Puerto Rican descent from the Lower East Side who is known for his collaborations with Keith Haring. Ortiz's contributions to Haring's work, including his trademark graffiti infill squiggles, have notably been obscured by the art establishment, which has prompted Ortiz's supporters, including artist, photographer, and videographer Clayton Patterson, to publicly uplift Ortiz's work and ask for credit to be given. Life and career Ortiz has created graffiti art since at the age of ten. Starting in the mid-1970s, he tagged in New York's Lower East Side under the moniker LA2. Ángel Ramírez Ortiz (30 June 1966 – 5 May 2008) was a Spanish scientist in the area of protein structure & bioinformatics. He was best known for the creation of the software package MAMMOTH for protein structure comparison. Ortiz died in 2008 having been diagnosed with cancer some years earlier. He is notable in having dedicated the remaining years of his life to studying cancer and the search for treatments. Biography Ángel Ramírez Ortiz was born on 30 June 1966 in Galicia, Spain. Miguel Molina (born September 27, 1991), better known by his ring name Ortiz, is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is also known for his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). In 2012, Molina, then known as Angel Ortiz, formed a tag team with Mike Draztik, known as EYFBO and worked on the American independent scene for several years. They won titles such as the AAW Tag Team Championship, CZW World Tag Team Championship and the HOG Tag Team Championship. In 2017, Ortiz and Dratzik were hired by TNA, then known as Impact Wrestling, and they changed their names to Ortiz and Santana respectively. Ángel Ortiz Monasterio Irizarri (January 15, 1849 – March 28, 1922) was a Mexican vice-admiral who contributed greatly to the Mexican Navy. He was also notable for his participation in the Ten Tragic Days of the Mexican Revolution. Early life Monasterio was born in Mexico City, on January 15, 1849, during the Mexican-American War and his parents fled Mexico looking for a better life in Spain, where his mother was from, since at that time Mexico had lost more than half of its territory. He studied as a military sailor in Spain, where he was an outstanding student and military man, serving the Spanish Navy in the military operations of the Glorious Revolution and in the assault on Cartagena, under the orders of General Juan Prim.
