ﾃ］gel Lizcano Monedero y Esteban (24 November 1846 – 31 July 1929) was a Spanish painter and illustrator. He specialized in Costumbrista and historical scenes. Biography Monedero was born in Alcﾃ｡zar de San Juan (Castile-La Mancha). When he was seven, his family moved to Madrid to open a bookstore. At the age of fourteen, he began his art studies at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, where he graduated with honors. Leganﾃｩs () is a city in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Considered part of the Madrid metropolitan area, it is located about 11 km southwest of the centre of Madrid. , it has a population of 188,425, making it the region's fifth most populated municipality.
