テ]gel Dario Colla Anacoreto (born 8 September 1973) is an Argentine former professional racing cyclist. He competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 2010 he was granted the Konex Award Merit Diploma as one of the five best cyclist of the last decade in Argentina. Track Cycling
Track cycling is a Cycle sport, bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles. History Track cycling has been around since at least 1870. When track cycling was in its infancy, it was held on velodromes similar to the ones used today. These velodromes consisted of two straights and slightly banked turns, though they varied more in length and material than the modern 250 m track. One appeal of indoor track racing was that spectators could be easily controlled, and hence an entrance fee could be charged, making track racing a lucrative sport. Early track races attracted crowds of up to 2,000 people. Indoor tracks also enabled year-round cycling for the first time. Vuelta A San Juan
The Vuelta a San Juan is an annual road cycling stage race held in Argentine. Typically consisting of seven stages, beginning and ending in San Juan, the race was first held in 1982. In 2017, the race was classified as a 2.1 event by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and expanded to included international, professional teams. Taking place in January, the race was viewed as a useful event for UCI WorldTour cyclists to get racing experience early in the season, before the start of the European season. It was called "the most prestigious competition in Latin America" by the Pan American Cycling Confederation. In 2020, the race was promoted to the UCI ProSeries and given a 2.Pro status.
