Vuelta Ciclista a Burgos is an elite professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Burgos (province), Burgos province of Spain. The men's Vuelta a Burgos has been a multi-day stage race as part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005. Setmana Catalana De Ciclisme
The Catalan Cycling Week (''Setmana Catalana de Ciclisme'' in Catalan language, Catalan) was a stage race, multi-stage road bicycle race held in Catalonia, Spain. Held annually from 1963 until 2005, it was run as a 2.HC race on the UCI Europe Tour in the second half of March. The Setmana Catalana was discontinued in 2006 due to financial problems and is no longer on the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI Calendar. Since 2010, the Volta a Catalunya, Catalonia's oldest existing cycling race, was moved to the calendar slot formerly held by the Setmana Catalana in late March. The first winner of the race was Josテゥ Pテゥrez-Francテゥs in 1963. Six riders have won the race twice: Spaniards Josテゥ Pテゥrez-Francテゥs and Luis Ocaテアa, Belgian Eddy Merckx, Swiss Alex Zテシlle, Dutchman Michael Boogerd and Frenchman Laurent Jalabert. 1994 Vuelta A Espaテアa
The 1994 Vuelta a Espaテアa was the 49th Edition of the Vuelta a Espaテアa, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The Vuelta started on April 25 with a short prologue around the Spanish city of Valladolid. The race came to a close on May 15 with a flat stage that stretched from Palazuelos de Eresma to the Spanish capital of Madrid. Seventeen teams entered the race, which was won by Tony Rominger of the team. Second and third respectively were the Spanish riders Mikel Zarrabeitia and Pedro Delgado. Tony Rominger became the first rider to win the Vuelta a Espaテアa three consecutive times.
