Álex Ortiz (footballer)
Alejandro "Álex" Ortiz Ramos (born 25 September 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central defender. Club career Born in Seville, Andalusia, Ortiz played reserve team football with both Sevilla FC and Real Betis. On 10 February 2008, whilst at the service of the latter club, he appeared in his first and only La Liga game, featuring the full 90 minutes in a 3–1 away loss against Valencia CF. After being released by the ''Verdiblancos'' in June 2010, Ortiz resumed his career in the Segunda División, successively representing Gimnàstic de Tarragona, CD Guadalajara, Deportivo Alavés and CD Mirandés. ''ABC'' () is a Spanish national daily newspaper. Along with and , it is one of Spain's three newspapers of record. History and profile ''ABC'' was first published in Madrid on 1 January 1903 by Torcuato Luca de Tena y Álvarez-Ossorio. The 2011–12 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 81st since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 26 August 2011 after the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) called a strike, the regular league ended on 3 June 2012, while the entire season ended on 16 June 2012 with the promotion play-off finals. The first goal of the season was scored by Xabier Etxeita, who scored a ninth-minute goal for Elche against Girona in the early kick-off. Sergio Juste Marín (born 12 January 1992), also known as Chechi, is a Spanish footballer who plays for FE Grama. Mainly a central defender, he can also play as a right-back. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time.
