Ajka
Ajka () is a city in Hungary with about 35,000 inhabitants. It is situated in the hills of Bakony. History Around 1000 BCE, the area was inhabited by Celts. By the second century CE, the territory was conquered by the Roman Empire, Romans. The Hungarians occupied the area in the early 10th century. The village Ajka was named after the Ajka clan, which, in turn, got its name after its ancestor, a knight named Heiko, who was a member of the retinue of Giselle of Bavaria, Gisela, Princess of Bavaria, wife of King Stephen I of Hungary, St. Stephen in the early 11th century. The village itself was first mentioned in 1214, when it was already about 100 years old. The village slowly developed during the next few centuries. Real prosperity came only in the second half of the 19th century, when coal resources were found nearby. In the 1930s, vast bauxite resources were found, too. Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC
Nyíregyháza Spartacus is a professional football club from Nyíregyháza, Hungary. Formed in 1928, it has had brief stints in the Nemzeti Bajnokság III. It set to play in the NB I from 2024–25 after promotion from NB II in 2023–24. The team is locally referred to by its monicker, ''Szpari''. Its games take place in Városi Stadion, in the city sport complex just north of the downtown. Zalaegerszeg and Vasas finished the 2011–12 season in the bottom two places of the table and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Vasas ended an 8-year stay in the top league. Zalaegerszeg ended an 18-year stay in the top league. The two relegated teams were replaced with the champions of the two 2011–12 NB II groups, Eger of the East Group and MTK of the West Group.
