Ádám Hanga
Ádám Hanga (born 12 April 1989) is a Hungarian professional basketball player for Joventut Badalona of the Spanish Liga ACB. He was drafted 59th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2011 NBA draft. Hanga won the EuroLeague Best Defender award in 2017. Early life Hanga was born to a Hungarian mother and a Zanzibari Tanzanian father, who was studying in Hungary at that time. His father left the family when Ádám was 3 years old and he was brought up by his mother and maternal grandparents. He is the nephew of African-Russian journalist and television personality Yelena Khanga. Professional career Hanga began his career with the Hungarian club, Albacomp, in 2006, at the age of 17, and stayed with the Székesfehérvár-based club until 2011. Club Joventut Badalona, S.A.D. () is a Spanish professional basketball club based in Badalona, Catalonia, Spain, playing in the Liga ACB and the EuroCup. Known to their fans as ''La Penya'' (in English, ''The Club''), it is one of only two teams that have never been relegated from the top division of the Spanish League. The only other is Real Madrid. The Copa del Rey de Baloncesto ( English: ''Basketball King's Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Spanish basketball teams organized by Spain's top professional league, the Liga ACB. History Originally known as the ''Copa de España de Baloncesto'', was first played in 1933 and contested in its first editions only by teams from the provinces of Madrid and Barcelona. It was the first nationwide basketball competition played in Spain. During the Francoism, it was referred as the ''Copa del Generalísimo de Baloncesto'', before becoming the ''Copa del Rey de Baloncesto'' in 1977.
