"(Baby I've Got You) On My Mind" (also known simply as "On My Mind") is the first single from the fifth studio album by Powderfinger. It was released as a single on 16 June 2003 and reached 9 on the Australian Singles Chart, the band's third-highest-charting single to date. In January 2018, as part of Triple M's "Ozzest 100", the 'most Australian' songs of all time, "(Baby I've Got You) On My Mind" was ranked No. 97. The music video, directed by Scott Walton, was nominated for Best Video at the ARIA Music Awards of 2003. Powderfinger were an Australian Rock music, rock band formed in Brisbane in 1989. From 1992 until their break-up in 2010, the line-up consisted of vocalist Bernard Fanning, guitarists Darren Middleton and Ian Haug, bass guitarist John Collins (Australian musician), John Collins and drummer Jon Coghill. John Burgess (TV Host)
John Richard Burgess (born 4 June 1943) is an Australian radio and television personality and host. He is often referred to as "Burgo" and sometimes "Baby John Burgess" or "Baby John", nicknames deriving from his radio days when he was the youngest presenter at the station. He has worked in the industry since 1963. He is best known for his long-term hosting of the Australian version of game show '' Wheel of Fortune'' and as a breakfast radio host. Natalie Gauci
Natalie Rose Gauci (born 26 November 1981) is an Australian musician, producer and teacher. Gauci undertook music tuition at the Victorian College of the Arts, formed her own band that played gigs in Melbourne, while also working as a music teacher. After an appearance on national radio station Triple J's talent contest, '' Unearthed'', she successfully auditioned for the fifth series of ''Australian Idol'' in 2007 and went on to win the series. Mainstream rock (also known as heritage rock) is a radio format used by many commercial radio stations in the United States and Canada. "Like a Dog" is a song by Australian alternative rock band Powderfinger. It was released as a single in 2001, and appeared on the band's fourth studio album, ''Odyssey Number Five''. The song was later included on '' Fingerprints: The Best of Powderfinger 1994-2000''. The song's lyrics are based on the band's feelings towards Australia's political position of the time. Musically, "Like a Dog" is strongly influenced by Ian Haug (guitar and backing vocals) and his love of Iggy Pop.
