''¡Dos!'' (stylized in all caps) is the tenth studio album by the American rock band Green Day. The album was released on November 9, 2012, in Australia, November 12 in the United Kingdom and on November 13 in the United States through Reprise Records. It is the second installment in the '' ¡Uno!'' ''¡Dos!'' '' ¡Tré!'' trilogy. Following its predecessor's power pop style, ''¡Dos!'' was billed as Green Day's take on garage rock. The album accumulated the highest average reviews of all three trilogy albums, receiving generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised its dynamic style and catchy songs; others found its music dull and observed filler on the album. It debuted at number nine on the US ''Billboard'' 200, with first-week sales of 69,000 copies in the United States, a low for the band, becoming their first album since ''Nimrod'' (1997) not to sell 100,000 records in its first week. "Amy" is a song by American rock band Green Day, released as the closing track on their tenth studio album ''¡Dos!'' (2012). It was written by Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool, and the song was produced by Rob Cavallo. "Amy" is a ballad written in tribute to Amy Winehouse, and marked a departure from the band's typical sound. ''¡Tré!'' (stylized in all caps) is the eleventh studio album by the American Rock music, rock band Green Day, released on December 7, 2012. It is the third and final installment in the ''¡Uno!'' ''¡Dos!'' ''¡Tré!'' trilogy, a series of studio albums that were released from September to December 2012. Green Day started recording material for the album on February 14, 2012, and finished on June 26, 2012. ''¡Tré!'' follows the power pop style of ''¡Uno!'', and the garage rock feel of ''¡Dos!''. The album's title (making a pun on ''tres'', which should follow the previous two titles) is a nod to the band's drummer Tré Cool, who turned 40 years old two days after the release. Green Day is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Rodeo, California, in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, with drummer Tré Cool joining in 1990. "Stray Heart" is a song by American rock band Green Day. It is the seventh track on their tenth studio album, ''¡Dos!'' (2012), and was released as the only single from the album in Europe and Australia on October 15, 2012. It is also the fourth single from the ''¡Uno!, ¡Dos! & ¡Tré!'' trilogy. The song is swapped on the vinyl version of ''¡Dos!'' with the song "Drama Queen" from ''¡Tré!'', due to the records being printed before the switch, meaning "Drama Queen" appears on both ''¡Dos!'' and ''¡Tré!'', and that "Stray Heart" never saw a release on vinyl. The single was certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry for downloads exceeding 15,000 units in Italy. (stylized in all caps) is the ninth studio album by the American rock band Green Day, released first in Australia on September 21, 2012, and released in the US on September 25, 2012, by Reprise Records. It is the first of three albums in the ''¡Uno!'', '' ¡Dos!'', ''¡Tré!'' trilogy, a series of studio albums released from September 2012 to December 2012. Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong (born February 17, 1972) is an American musician and actor. He is best known for being the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Green Day, which he co-founded with Mike Dirnt in 1987. He is also a guitarist and vocalist for the punk rock band Pinhead Gunpowder, and provides lead vocals for Green Day's side projects Foxboro Hot Tubs, the Network, the Longshot and the Coverups.
