History[edit] The history of the establishment of the Tarsana Club in 1921 by the English Major Slauter, the first president of the club, at a time when Egypt
Egypt
was under British Protectorate, was the first headquarters in the area of Bulaq, and then transferred to Agouza, Finally he was transferred to his current headquarters in Mit Okba, specifically in 1958. The main reason for its establishment was to serve the staff of the Emiratisation workshops of the Maritime Administration (currently the Ministry of Irrigation), so it was called Tersana, This is the secret of wearing the blue color "sea and water color". There have been many rumors about the secret of the launch of the title «Hummers» on the Tarsana players, but the most famous novel that it came because of the team's hardness with the team, and the fusion of the Fedayeen, so launched the great sports critics Abdul Majid Noman and Najib Almstkawi the title of Hummers after the intervention of Fouad Gouda, defender Tersana, on foot Saleh Selim
