History
Johnsonville was home to Johnsonville Axe Manufacturing company and a
bobbin factory (Johnsonville Bobbin Works) in the late 19th century.
The

Cannon–Brownell–Herrington Farmstead, and
Thomas–Wiley–Johnson Farmstead are listed on the
National Register of Historic Places
