Lisa came up with three different pitches: ''Beautiful Basics'', ''Pure and Simple'', and ''Fashion Feast'', each of which merge her straightforward approach to cooking with either fine dining, organics and green living, or high fashion, respectively. With Gordon's advice, she chose to pursue the ''Beautiful Basics'' pitch, as he felt both of the other ideas were too inaccessible for home viewers. Adam created an idea titled ''I'm Always Hungry in Philadelphia'', in which viewers talked to him by
