Vivekananda Pictures is an Indian film production and distribution company, based at Chennai, India. The production company was established in 1977 by its founder, Tiruppur Mani. He produced around thirty movies under his banner . After a hiatus it produced the blockbuster movie Kaithi under Tiruppur Vivek who is now at the heilm of the Company All their films had Sivakumar and Sathyaraj as lead actor. History The production house first feature film ''Kannan Ori Kaikuzhandai (1978)'' was directed by Venkatesh, in which Sivakumar and Sumithra played the lead roles. Following this film, Sivakumar has been their choice for the lead actor for ''Rosappu Ravikkaikaari, Vandichakkaram, Aaniver, Aayiram Muthangal.'' Though first five films has got Sivakumar as male lead, the female leads were Sumithra for ''Kannan Ori Kaikuzhandai,'' Deepa for ''Rosappu Ravikkaikaari'', Saritha for ''Vandichakkaram'' and ''Aaniver,'' Radha for ''Aayiram Muthangal''. ''Kannan Oru Kai Kuzhandhai'' () is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language film directed by N. Venkatesh and produced by Tirupur Mani. The film stars Sivakumar, Sumithra and Sowcar Janaki. It was released on 8 September 1978. Plot Kannan, an educated man, who joins a radio shop, where Vasantha is working as a typist, gets an accommodation in the same building where Vasantha is residing by bluffing that he has a widowed mother. Manivannan Rajagopal (31 July 1953 – 15 June 2013), better known by his mononym Manivannan, was an Indian film director, actor and activist who worked mainly in Tamil cinema and also worked in a few Telugu & Malayalam films. Sujatha (actress)
Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and staggered in a number of unique and variety of characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R.
