Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt
Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt (7 July 1931 – 14 March 2018) was a Danish film director and screenwriter. He has directed 32 films between 1957 and 1995. His 1964 film ''To (film), To'' was entered into the 15th Berlin International Film Festival. Two years later, his 1967 film ''Story of Barbara'' was entered into the 17th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1965 he co-produced the film ''4x4 (1965 film), 4x4'' and it was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. Kjærulff-Schmidt died on 14 March 2018 after a short illness at the age of 86.Palle Kjærulff-Schmidt

Klaus Rifbjerg
Klaus Rifbjerg (15 December 1931 – 4 April 2015) was a Danish writer. He authored more than 170 novels, books and essays. In 1965 he co-produced the film '' 4x4'' which was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. Biography Rifbjerg was born in Copenhagen and grew up on the island of Amager, which is part of the city, the child of two teachers. Later he studied English and literature, in Copenhagen and for a year in the US at Princeton University. His breakthrough was in 1958 with the novel ''Den kroniske Uskyld''. It was made into a film in 1985, directed by Edward Fleming. From that time on he published more than 100 novels as well as poetry and short story collections, plays, TV and radio plays, film scripts, children's books and diaries. Rifbjerg is also known for having been a journalist and critic. Birgit Brüel
Birgit Brüel (born 6 October 1927 – died 23 February 1996) was a Danish singer and actress who participated in the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest. Brüel's professional career began in 1950 when she joined the Max Brüel Quartet as a jazz singer, and began training at the Danish Royal drama school. She married Brüel in 1951 and gave birth to twin daughters the following year (she also had one daughter from her first marriage, which had ended in divorce in 1949). During the 1950s she became well known as a theatre and screen actress, and between 1961 and 1966 she sang with the Danish Radio Jazz Group. In 1965, Brüel entered the Danish Eurovision selection, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, which she won with the song " For din skyld" ("For Your Sake"). She represented Denmark at the tenth Eurovision Song Contest, held on 20 March in Naples, where "For dyn skyld" finished in seventh place of the 18 entries.
