Richard Fortus
Richard Fortus (born November 17, 1966) is an American guitarist. He is a member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he has recorded one studio album, since 2002. Fortus has also collaborated extensively with The Psychedelic Furs frontman Richard Butler and fellow Guns N' Roses bandmate Frank Ferrer. Aside from lead singer Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed, Fortus is the longest-tenured member of Guns N' Roses, having been with the band continuously since 2002. Alongside his work in Guns N' Roses, Fortus is a former member of Love Spit Love, Thin Lizzy, and The Dead Daisies. Career Early life and beginning career Fortus was born in St. Louis, Missouri. The Dead Daisies are an Australian-American rock band formed in Sydney in 2012. Since their formation they have assembled a rotating lineup of musicians who have otherwise played with groups including Whitesnake, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabbath, and Motley Crue, among others. Duff McKagan
Michael Andrew "Duff" McKagan (born February 5, 1964) is an American musician. He was the bassist of hard rock band Guns N' Roses for twelve years, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. McKagan rejoined the band in 2016, following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Toward the end of his first tenure with Guns N' Roses, McKagan released the solo album ''Believe in Me (Duff McKagan album), Believe in Me'' (1993) and formed the short-lived supergroup (music), supergroup Neurotic Outsiders. Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), known professionally as Slash, is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and mid-1990s. Slash has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history. Born in Hampstead, London, Slash moved to Los Angeles with his father when he was six years old. The Not in This Lifetime... Tour was a concert tour by hard rock band Guns N' Roses, spanning from April 1, 2016, to November 2, 2019. It featured classic lineup members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, marking the first time since the Use Your Illusion Tour in 1993 that the three performed together. After the previous tour in 2014, guitarists DJ Ashba & Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, bassist Tommy Stinson and keyboardist Chris Pitman left Guns N' Roses, leaving the band with several open spots. Former members Slash and McKagan rejoined the band and Melissa Reese joined as keyboardist. The group embarked on a world tour that spanned all continents except Antarctica. ''Appetite for Democracy 3D'' is a live concert film released in Cinemas, Broadcast and BD/DVD by Guns N' Roses, filmed live at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas on November 21, 2012, on the tenth night of their residency, as part of the Appetite for Democracy tour in celebration of twenty-five years of ''Appetite for Destruction'' and four years of ''Chinese Democracy''. This is the first live DVD release of Guns N' Roses since ''Use Your Illusion I'' and ''Use Your Illusion II'' in 1992. The show was filmed entirely in 3D and was produced by Barry Summers from Rock Fuel Media. The cover art features part of the original banned cover art from Appetite For Destruction. Tommy Stinson
Thomas Eugene Stinson (born October 6, 1966) is an American rock musician. He came to prominence in the 1980s as the bass guitarist for The Replacements, one of the definitive American alternative rock groups. After their breakup in 1991, Stinson formed Bash & Pop, acting as lead vocalist, guitarist and frontman. In the mid-1990s he was the singer and guitarist for the rock band Perfect, and eventually joined the hard rock band Guns N' Roses in 1998. Paul Tobias (also known as Paul Edward Huge (pronounced hugh-gee); born April 4th 1963) is an American guitarist best known for his work with the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he was associated from 1994 to 2002. Biography Born On April 4th 1963 in Indianapolis, Tobias grew up in Lafayette and is a childhood friend of Axl Rose. Following the formation of Rose's band Hollywood Rose in 1983, the band's demo tape featured two songs co-written by Rose and Tobias: " Shadow of Your Love" and "Back Off Bitch".
